Search will continue to have a social element infused into it such as adding a button on the alteration of the search results as live feeds on Google + sites, like Facebook "likes" and Twitter "tweets" are affecting Search results by user influence due to its value as an endorsement of certain sites and content of decisions.
Google definitely want websites to implement the button of your pages so they can track and measure changes in click through rates. Button 1 will also be included in all SERPs, and all Google + feeds. What this means is business owners and vendors should ensure that a positive customer experience is perhaps more than ever, its main focus in the hope that as many users as possible one place, and in doing so support your business (and by association, the reputation).
